Welcome to Awakened Wellbeing.

My name is Sarah and I work as an Integrative Therapist.

We all experience times when we feel lost or anxious. Often having someone to explore your concerns and feelings with can be deeply valuable and clarifying. I understand that sharing parts of yourself that you usually keep hidden can be daunting, I provide a safe and confidential space in which you can begin to do this.

By developing awareness through examining your inner world and by understanding your beliefs, habits and motivations, you can begin to enhance your sense of identity and enable positive change to occur.

We all have the ability to heal and grow, given the right conditions. Discomfort can be caused by a loss of contact with who we really are, therapy can help you restore and renew this contact thereby awakening you to a greater sense of wellbeing.

The desire to know your own soul will end all other desires. ” - Rūmī
About Me

I am a down to earth, qualified therapist with professional experience of working in various settings including Bereavement and Higher Education.

I have worked successfully with clients aged eighteen to those in their seventies, covering issues such as loneliness, low self-worth, lack of boundaries, people pleasing, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement and loss (of job, identity, relationship).

I welcome you to explore whatever is troubling you in our sessions.

How I Work

My practice is currently online due to a rise in covid cases. I will resume in-person sessions, while continuing to offer zoom for those who prefer working remotely, when I feel it is appropriate to do so.

Face to face sessions, when available, are held in a safe and confidential setting, arranged to allow for social distancing.

I use a holistic individualised approach and work at a pace and depth that is appropriate for you. As an Integrative Therapist I weave different branches of psychotherapeutic theories together to meet your needs, these include Psychodynamic, Person-Centred and Transpersonal.

Above all I believe in building a connection that is respectful and collaborative. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, cultures, gender identities and sexual orientations.

My work is fully insured and underpinned by regular clinical supervision.

Fees and what to expect

Sessions last fifty minutes; zoom sessions are £60 and face to face sessions are £70.

I offer an initial consultation at a reduced rate of £40. Here we explore what has brought you to therapy and I can answer any questions you may have. It is through this process that we can find a way forward to support you with your concerns.

If you decide to pursue therapeutic work, your sessions will be at the same time each week.  We can agree to a fixed series of sessions, or leave it open for longer term work, according to your needs and preferences.

I understand that taking the first step towards therapy can be difficult. If you're thinking about starting the process but are unsure if it is for you, you are welcome to call or send an email and I would be glad to discuss this with you further. This initial contact will of course be free and with no obligation.
